Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms
Last updated: June 20, 2026
These Subscription & Auto-Renewal Terms (these "Subscription Terms") explain how paid subscriptions to Maili work: what you pay, when you are charged, how renewals happen, how to cancel, and how refunds are handled. They apply to the Maili iPhone application and the Maili website.
The Maili app and website are operated by Mylo Prime LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("Maili", "we", "us", "our"), located in Bountiful, UT 84010. References to "Maili" mean Mylo Prime LLC.
These Subscription Terms are part of, and incorporate by reference, our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where these Subscription Terms address billing, renewal, cancellation, or refunds and conflict with the general Terms of Service, these Subscription Terms control for those topics.
1. Summary of the key terms
Here is the short version. The rest of this page gives the detail, but the points below are the ones that matter most before you subscribe:
- Subscriptions renew automatically. When you buy a paid plan, it is a recurring subscription that continues until you cancel it. We do not sell one-time access.
- You will be charged on a repeating schedule. Monthly plans are charged every month; annual plans are charged once a year. The price and billing frequency are shown to you, clearly and conspicuously, right next to the button you tap to subscribe.
- We ask for your explicit, separate consent to auto-renewal. You must affirmatively agree to the recurring charge before it starts. Agreeing to our general Terms of Service is not, by itself, agreement to auto-renewal.
- Free trials. New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. Where Maili controls the conversion, we downgrade you to the Free plan at the end of the trial rather than automatically charging you — you choose to continue to paid. Where Apple controls the conversion (standard App Store trials), the trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends. Both cases are explained in Section 5.
- You can cancel anytime, easily, in the same place you signed up. See Section 6.
- Who handles your money depends on where you bought. If you subscribed inside the iPhone app, Apple handles billing, cancellation, and refunds. If you subscribed on the web or as an Enterprise customer, we handle billing and refunds through Stripe. See Sections 8 and 9.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, start a free trial, or purchase a subscription. By subscribing, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that any payment method or account you use is yours and that you are authorized to use it.
3. Plans and pricing
Maili offers the plans below. Prices are in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your location. For app purchases, Apple may also apply currency conversion and regional pricing.
| Plan | Price | Billing | Who it's for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | No charge, no renewal | Anyone trying Maili; core assistant with usage limits. |
| Plus | $11.99 / month, or an annual price billed once per year | Recurring (monthly or annual) | Daily users who want the full assistant without metered limits. |
| Pro | $28.99 / month, or an annual price billed once per year | Recurring (monthly or annual) | Power users who want autonomous features and the highest limits. |
| Enterprise | Custom pricing | Billed by invoice under a separate agreement | Teams and organizations; SSO, admin controls, and pooled usage. |
The exact current prices, any annual-plan amounts, available billing frequencies, and any trial or promotional offer are always shown to you in the app or on the website at the moment of purchase, immediately next to where you confirm. If anything on this page ever differs from what you are shown at checkout, the price and terms presented to you at the point of purchase are what govern that transaction.
The Free plan never renews and is never charged. The rest of these Subscription Terms apply to the paid plans (Plus, Pro, and Enterprise).
4. Automatic renewal and your consent
4.1 Offer terms shown before you buy
Before you complete a paid subscription, we present the following, clearly and conspicuously and immediately next to the mechanism you use to agree:
- that the subscription is a recurring (automatically renewing) charge;
- the price you will be charged (including, after any free trial, the price that will apply when the trial ends);
- the billing frequency (for example, monthly or annually);
- the length of the subscription term; and
- that the subscription continues until you cancel it, and how to cancel.
4.2 Your express agreement
By tapping or clicking the button to start a paid subscription (for example, "Subscribe", "Start Plus", or "Start Pro"), you expressly agree to the recurring charge described next to that button, and you authorize us — or Apple, for in-app purchases — to charge your selected payment method on the stated schedule until you cancel. This agreement to automatic renewal is separate from, and in addition to, your acceptance of our general Terms of Service.
4.3 Confirmation and records
After you subscribe, you will receive an acknowledgment of your purchase that includes the subscription terms and instructions for how to cancel. For in-app purchases, this acknowledgment and your purchase receipt are provided by Apple to your Apple Account. We keep records of your consent to the auto-renewal terms as required by applicable law.
4.4 How renewal works
Unless you cancel before the end of the current term, your subscription renews automatically for another term of the same length, and your payment method is charged the then-current price for that plan at the start of each new term. A monthly plan renews every month; an annual plan renews every year on the anniversary of your purchase.
5. Free trials and free-to-pay conversion
5.1 What the trial is
New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial of a paid plan. During the trial you get access to the trial plan's features at no charge. Only one trial is available per person or Apple Account unless we state otherwise; we may decline a trial to anyone who has already used one.
5.2 What we disclose before the trial starts
Before you begin a free trial, we show you, clearly and conspicuously:
- the length of the trial (7 days);
- the price that will apply after the trial and the date the first charge would occur if the trial converts to paid;
- the billing cadence after conversion (monthly or annual); and
- how to cancel before you are charged.
5.3 What happens when the trial ends
How your trial ends depends on the billing channel:
- Where Maili controls the conversion: at the end of the trial we downgrade you to the Free plan rather than automatically charging you. You keep using Maili on the Free plan and can choose to upgrade to a paid plan whenever you want. You are not charged unless and until you affirmatively start a paid subscription.
- Where Apple controls the conversion (standard App Store introductory trials): the trial converts into a paid subscription automatically when it ends, and Apple charges your Apple Account, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. This is how Apple's introductory offers work across the App Store. If you do not want to be charged, cancel through your Apple subscription settings before the trial ends (see Section 6).
5.4 Reminder before conversion
Where a trial will convert to a paid charge, we aim to send you a reminder before the trial ends so you can cancel in time if you do not want to continue. For App Store trials, Apple also notifies you. Reminders are a courtesy and, where the charge is processed by Apple, are not always within our control — you remain responsible for cancelling before the deadline if you do not wish to be charged.
6. How to cancel (click-to-cancel)
You can cancel a paid subscription at any time, easily, and in the same place where you signed up. You do not need to call us or speak with anyone.
6.1 If you subscribed inside the iPhone app (Apple In-App Purchase)
Apple manages these subscriptions. Cancel through your device:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions (or open Manage Subscriptions from within Maili, which deep-links you to the same place).
- Select your Maili subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
You can also manage and cancel from the Apple Manage Subscriptions page. Apple's instructions are at support.apple.com.
6.2 If you subscribed on the web or as an Enterprise customer (Stripe)
You can cancel online without contacting us, through your account's billing or subscription settings, which include a button that cancels immediately. You may also cancel by emailing support@maili.ai. Enterprise subscriptions billed under a separate agreement are cancelled according to that agreement.
6.3 Retention offers do not block cancellation
If we present a retention or discount offer when you start to cancel, a button that immediately cancels your subscription will be prominently displayed on the same screen. You are never required to accept an offer, click through extra steps, or wait in order to cancel.
6.4 When cancellation takes effect
When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing. Unless otherwise required by law or stated by Apple, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you keep access to your paid plan until then, and you are not charged again. After the paid period ends, your account moves to the Free plan.
7. Renewal reminders and changes to your plan or price
7.1 Renewal reminders
Where required by law, we provide renewal reminders for ongoing subscriptions — including, at minimum, reminders for annual and longer terms — with information about the renewal and how to cancel. For App Store subscriptions, Apple also sends renewal and price-related notices to your Apple Account.
7.2 Material changes and price changes
If we make a material change to a subscription — including a change to the price, the billing frequency, or a material reduction in features — we will give you clear and conspicuous advance notice before the change takes effect, along with instructions on how to cancel if you do not agree. For App Store subscriptions, Apple manages price-increase consent: depending on the increase, Apple will either ask for your agreement before charging the new price or notify you in advance, consistent with Apple's policies. If you do not agree to a change, your remedy is to cancel before it takes effect; continuing to use the paid subscription after the effective date means you accept the change.
8. Which payment channel governs your purchase
Maili uses two billing channels, and the channel you used determines who processes your payments and handles cancellations and refunds:
- Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit) — used for all consumer subscriptions (Plus and Pro, monthly and annual) purchased inside the iPhone app. Apple is the merchant of record for these purchases. Apple handles billing, renewals, cancellations, and refunds.
- Stripe — used only for Enterprise and web/invoiced subscriptions. For these, Mylo Prime LLC is the merchant of record and we handle billing and refunds directly through Stripe.
As a rule of thumb: if you signed up through the App Store, Apple is your billing channel; if you signed up on the website or under an Enterprise agreement, Stripe (handled by us) is your billing channel. Each provider's terms also apply to your payment: see Apple Media Services Terms and the Stripe terms.
9. Refunds
Because we use two billing channels, refunds are handled differently depending on where you bought your subscription.
9.1 Apple In-App Purchases — refunds are handled by Apple
For subscriptions purchased inside the iPhone app, Apple processes all billing and refunds, and Mylo Prime LLC cannot issue refunds for these purchases. Apple's terms and refund policies govern. To request a refund for an in-app purchase:
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple Account; or
- Follow Apple's instructions at support.apple.com.
Whether to grant a refund for an App Store purchase is Apple's decision under Apple's policies. If you contact us about an in-app purchase refund, we will direct you to Apple, because we are not able to process it ourselves.
9.2 Stripe / web / Enterprise purchases — refunds are handled by us
For subscriptions billed through Stripe (web and Enterprise), Mylo Prime LLC handles refunds directly. Unless a separate written agreement or applicable law says otherwise:
- Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has begun, and cancelling stops future renewals rather than refunding the current period (you keep access through the end of the period you paid for).
- If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@maili.ai within 30 days of the charge and we will review it in good faith.
- Enterprise refunds, if any, follow the terms of the applicable Enterprise agreement or order form.
9.3 Statutory rights
Nothing in this Section limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation right you may have under the law of your jurisdiction. Where the law gives you a stronger right than this policy, that law controls.
10. Taxes
Prices shown may not include sales tax, VAT, or other taxes, which may be added based on your billing location. For App Store purchases, Apple calculates and collects applicable taxes. For Stripe purchases, taxes are calculated and added at checkout or on your invoice as applicable.
11. What you are paying for
Your subscription pays for access to Maili's features at your plan level. Maili is an AI executive assistant that, with your consent, can connect to services such as your email, calendar, and contacts, and can draft and propose actions for you. As described in our Terms of Service, Maili operates on a simple principle: Maili proposes; you approve. Maili drafts and proposes outward actions — emails, texts, calls, calendar invites, and payments — and never sends, transmits, schedules, or pays without your explicit, per-action confirmation. Your subscription does not authorize Maili to spend money or make any payment on your behalf without that confirmation. AI output may be inaccurate and should be reviewed before you act on it; see the Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
12. Changes to these Subscription Terms
We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide notice as described in Section 7 and update the "Last updated" date above. Changes apply going forward and do not change the terms that governed a purchase you already made. The current version always lives at /legal/subscription.
13. Governing law
These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by the dispute-resolution and governing-law provisions of our Terms of Service. This does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-protection law of the jurisdiction where you live.
